It's easy to simply use software and themes downloaded from Drupal.org to speed up your development projects. It's much harder to work with the community and give back in a way that helps Drupal and your own projects. In this presentation, we'll discuss (1) how to follow development of your favorite contributed modules and themes, (2) how to contribute changes back to the projects, (3) general issue queue etiquette, and (4) the most constructive and effective ways to get support when you can't figure out what's wrong or how to use something.
